Print Production Supervisor

We print regularly for leading brands including Virgin Media, Disney, Vodafone, Fulfill, Fender, Adidas and Amazon alongside SME’s and local businesses. From humble beginnings 12 years ago, we’ve grown to a £1.5m turnover and have our sights set on a £5m turnover in the next few years. We offer a fantastic career opportunity for a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our company during this exciting phase of growth. The ideal candidate should possess management experience in a high-volume, short lead times, production environment. Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for the production of all digitally printed products. Ensure all team members understand performance expectations and meet their set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Organise, control, and monitor the production flow while ensuring consistent quality. Develop and maintain capacity plans to maximise staff and machine efficiency. Manage production schedules. Meet departmental budget requirements. Oversee stock management and ordering. Ensure proper maintenance of machines and adherence to 5S principles by team members. Foster strong communication within the team and other departments, encouraging open sharing of ideas and suggestions for improvement. Conduct weekly team meetings. Establish and maintain quality control procedures, promptly addressing any issues. Required Experience/Skills Previous experience in helping manage a production team. Industry experience in print, particularly textile (preferred). Analytical approach to reviewing work practices and equipment. Strong leadership and people management skills. Team building abilities. Solid knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management. Effective communication skills across all organisational levels. Proactive and capable of responding swiftly to changing situations. Perform well under pressure. Ability to manage change. Collaborative approach to working with teams and other departments. Innovative mindset. Good judgement and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities.
